Happy Death Day Gomovies,Campy & Cliche in all the right ways. The kind of self-aware satire that isn’t trying to add anything new to the genre but rather embrace it’s bad reputation. B-Movie teen angst at it’s best without the cringe. Happy Death Day toys with teen movie tropes and slasher-horror conventions, and succeeds by being satisfyingly ordinary. Just what you expect and then some. A mindless monstrosity that I’d sink my teeth into time and time again~
