Antebellum gomovies, This movie had SO much potential. It wasn’t a bad film at all but there were so many opportunities for the writers to add more depth throughout the film. It was unnecessarily long and the ending leaves the audience with so many questions. I wanted this to be more than another movie about slavery and in SOME ways it was. I would like to give it 5 stars SO bad but I just can’t.
