Spenser Confidential Gomovies,The latest from Mark Wahlberg & Peter Berg has popped up on Netflix this past week & is based on the 40 plus Spencer for Hire novels (which was also the basis for the 80’s Robert Urich/Avery Brooks TV series) in which an ex-cop from Boston solves crimes. Being a bit better than their last pairing, Mile 22, this outing has the disgraced police officer out of jail after a 5 year stint for beating up his superior. Talking a big game about wanting to leaving his Mass surroundings (he wants to relocate to Arizona & become a truck driver), he instead finds himself taking on a case which involves the murder of the cop he was sent to prison for & another officer he knew from his academy days. Humbled by his circumstances (he has to stay w/his old friend played by Hollywood vet Alan Arkin who has taken on a border,
